Proud mother of Christina (Owen) Nagy, Stephan (Mari) Trupiano, Antonino (Kristina) Trupiano, Charlie (Renee) Granzow. She adored her grandchildren, Katelyn Nagy, Mason Trupiano, Antonino (Nino), Alexander (Doc), William and Benjamin Trupiano, Trevor, Tiffany and Trinity Granzow. She is survived by her loving brother Allen (Shirley) Fitzgerald. Four late brothers, Harold, James (Tina), John, and Thomas Fitzgerald and late sister Evelyn Ellison. Dear sister in law to Fran Trupiano, Bridget (Larry) Diekema, Lucy Trupiano Haydu and many loving nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart along with many dear friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

After graduating high school she went to work for Michigan Bell. From there she worked for General Motors World Headquarters in Detroit. Her passion at the time was skiing where she traveled to Europe and Colorado and many trips up north. She passed this passion along with swimming onto her children who in turn passed this love onto their children. She stayed home after getting married to raise her family. When her children finished school she went to work as a dental assistant before falling in love with Real Estate and getting her Real Estate license in 1993. She went on to have a very successful career with Coldwell Banker until she retired in 2020. Her goal was to work until she was 80, but a heart attack kept her from reaching her goal.

Kathy loved our American Flag and whenever you passed her house you saw the flag flying along with either the Italian or the Irish Flag. She traveled to many countries but had a special place in her heart for Ireland and Italy. She enjoyed working in her yard as long as she was able and loved her flowers.

Kathleen was kind and generous, always positive, with a great since of humor and most notably she had an unwavering love of her family. Kathleen always looked forward to playing Euchre with her best pals and loved traveling to so many wonderful places with them; they always had so much fun and had great memories to cherish.
